Description
A progression of experiences designed to develop leadership ability and awareness of the Air Force lifestyle with emphasis on: Air Force customs and courtesies; drill and ceremonies, physical fitness, the Air Force officer’s environment and culture and opportunities available to commissioned officers.

Student Learning Outcomes

Understand the AFROTC training philosophy, customs and courtesies, dress and grooming standards, grade and insignia, and the chain of command.
Understand the AFROTC Honor Code, effective time management skills, the benefits of exercise and nutrition, and the AFROTC weight and fitness standards.
Understand the courtesies and procedures associated with the United States flag.
Demonstrate individual and flight drill positions and movements.
Understand the Air Force officer culture and traditions.

Corequisite: AES 110 or equivalent
