Study of teaching strategies, material, and activities which support the mathematical development in the young child utilizing a Piagetian theoretical base.

Student Learning Outcomes

Describe the developmental sequence of mathematical abilities in the young child.
Implement developmentally appropriate math activities for the young child.
Demonstrate the ability to increase and decrease the difficulty level of a given math activity in response to a given child’s manipulation of math materials.
