This academic map should be used by CSN students who have been accepted into the CSN Dental Science Program.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP

The academic map is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in five (5) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree and graduate.

CSN AS DENTAL SCIENCE: DESCRIPTION

The Associate of Science degree in Dental Science requires 5 semesters of coursework that prepares the student for application to the Bachelor of Science Dental Hygiene limited-entry program or as a transfer degree to a pre-dental program. The Associate of Science degree is a general transfer program for students who are planning to transfer to UNLV, UNR, NSU, GBC or another baccalaureate-level institution. A secondary objective may be employment in the dental office or dental marketing industry.
