Associate of Business, AB [AB, 60 Total Credits]

DESCRIPTION
The Associate of Business (AB) degree provides the equivalent of the first two years of a Bachelor’s degree in business related subject areas. Students who pursue this degree are primarily interested in transferring to NSC, UNLV, UNR or another baccalaureate level institution. A secondary objective may be employment upon completion of the AB.
SPECIALIZED ACCREDITATION
The Associate of Business program is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), located at 11520 West 119th Street, Overland Park, KS 66213, (913) 339-9356, (www.acbsp.org).

Student Learning Outcomes
1. Integrate financial and managerial accounting principles in the utilization of data planning and control.
2. Incorporate business principles with the theory and practice of business operations.
3. Examine the planning, organization, leadership and control functions of management.
General Education Requirements (32 Credits)
Mathematics (3 Credits)
NOTE: Your first college-level MATH course must be completed before reaching 30 total college level credits.

- or MATH 124E - College Algebra Expanded or above
REMINDER: If a student does not place into the correct college-level MATH course, they are required to complete a preparatory or prerequisite course(s) or attempt to gain a higher score on the MATH placement exam. Such preparatory or prerequisite courses are not part of the degree, may delay degree completion, and will cause the student to complete more credits then the total listed on this degree.
English Composition (6-8 Credits)
