Description An introduction to the major principles and underlying processes of organismal, population, community, and ecosystem ecology.

- Explain the processes that influence species’ distribution and abundance using examples of populations or communities shaped by these processes.
- Characterize interactions between species and the environment that determine community composition and structure.
- Explain how models are used to analyze population growth and community structure.
