Description
This course includes a lab.  A detailed study of the anatomy and physiology of human cells and tissues and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. Designed for health science majors.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Apply descriptive, anatomical, physiological and directional terminology to the human body and its organization. 
  2. Correlate the structure of tissues with their functions and locations.
  3. Analyze how components of the integumentary system function in the human body. 
  4. Describe the structure, function, and interactions of the skeletal system inclusive of articulations.
  5. Summarize the structure, functions, and interactions of skeletal muscles.
  6. Describe the structure, functions, and interactions of all the components of the nervous system and sensory organs. 

Prerequisite: BIOL 189  with a grade of C or better
