CIT 217 - Security+ Credits: 3 Semesters Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer Campus/Sites Offered: Charleston, North Las Vegas, Online Offering Note: Online only in the fall.
Description The purpose of this class is to prepare professionals with at least two years of networking experience and who possess a thorough knowledge of TCP/IP to take and pass the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Topics will include general security concepts, communications security, infrastructure security basics of cryptography, and operational/organizational security.
