Description Comprehensive review of Clinical Microbiology for Clinical Laboratory Science.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe the physiology of pathogenic organisms and their clinically relevant testing procedures.
- Compare and contrast morphological, biochemical, immunological, and molecular methods used in Clinical Microbiology.
- Interpret microbiological testing data in order to identify pathogenic organisms and report antibiotic sensitivity information in a clinically relevant manner.
- Assess clinical microbiology results to determine acceptability.
