Description This course is designed to provide continuity of clinical practice. The student will continue to improve clinical skills.

- Demonstrate problem solving skills and professional behavior.
- Develop a person philosophy of dental hygiene practice.
- Accept instructor guidance and peer review as a learning experience that contribute to professional knowledge and growth.
- Experience teamwork between the student provider, supervising faculty, patient’s dentist and physician to provide safe, effective, and efficient dental hygiene care.
- Provide dental hygiene preventive services, hard and soft deposit removal, application of anti-cariogenic agents, and oral health education, for patients with varying needs.
