VID 218 - Sound for Video and Film II Credits: 3 Description This course moves beyond the principles of capturing and editing audio elements in VID 201 - Sound for Video and Film by emphasizing the manipulation of sound elements for the purpose of enhancing sonic output. Manipulate and process sound elements through the use of synthesizers and other digital software platforms to create more depth to projects. Focuses on placement of the overall sonic theme of a film project.

- Design a sonic environment for a short film project.
- Manipulate original sound elements to customize a soundscape for motion pictures.
