Description
Apply the techniques of the professional writing process to real world documents such as e-mails, business correspondence, proposals, reports, and websites.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Create and format functional technical documents and professional written communications while considering audience and purpose.   
  2. Analyze relevant examples of technical genres for functional and stylistic choices.  
  3. Apply documentation guidelines such as CSE, IEEE, or Chicago to provide attribution in technical texts.  
  4. Collect and analyze data using ethical survey methods to represent data in appropriate charts, graphs, images, and other visuals.    
  5. Demonstrate project management and collaboration skills while applying a process approach to a technical writing project.
