Description
Introduces modern electronics technology and electronics concepts including voltage, current, resistance, power and frequency and functional analysis of simple analog and digital systems.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Apply fundamental concepts AC and DC circuit.
  2. Apply fundamentals of inductance and capacitance.
  3. Identify operational components of semiconductor devices.
  4. Analyze various amplifier and oscillator circuits.
  5. Describe digital circuits and binary number systems.
  6. Define the difference between a mainframe computer, microcomputer, microprocessor and microcontroller.
  7. Apply op-amps principles and how they can be used in various configurations.
