SOC 289 - Applied Skills in Sociology

Description
Designed as culminating course in completion of sociology degree program. This capstone course blends research, theory, and method with practical experience in applied sociology.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Describe the application of sociological theory carried out by sociological practitioners.  
  2. Apply sociological theory and research skills to the examination and solution of a social problem. 
  3. Investigate the work of applied and clinical sociologists to explore a potential career path.  
  4. Evaluate the ethical behavior of sociological practitioners.
