Description
This course is a continuation of OPE 155B . Students will enhance their skill level on the operation of various pieces of equipment used by the Operating Engineer.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Recognize and use operating and maintenance engineer terminology.
- Identify hazards and utilize safety procedures on the job site.
- Identify various pieces of equipment and describe their function.
- Operate equipment including forklifts, scrapers, dozers, backhoes and ditching machines.
- Properly inspect and maintain equipment.
