Description
This course provides students with basic bridge and deck construction sequence and procedures. Formwork project will include panel construction, assembly and hardware installation tasks.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify and define the nomenclature of concrete bridges and lost deck forms.
- Measure, cut and assemble formwork using proper installation techniques for bridge/deck form building.
- Correctly install and secure in place form hardware and bracing.
- Demonstrate safe use of tools and personal protective equipment.
