Description
Mixing and applying 3-coat gypsum plaster are demonstrated and practiced. Identification and application of various fireproofing materials are demonstrated and practiced.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate competency in mixing and applying 3-coat gypsum plaster.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the mathematical calculations needed for properly installed plaster work.
- Demonstrate a through understanding of advantages/disadvantages of Cementitious, Mineral Fiber, and lntumescent fireproofing materials and application of the same.
- Demonstrate proficiency with advanced calculations required for fireproofing design and installation.
- Demonstrate competency to apply veneer plaster finish.
