1. Understand the principles of water treatment and recognize its components.
2. Know the proper installation of water mains and services, know the proper use of materials used for water mains and services, Install water mains and services correctly.
3. Know the proper installation of building water supply systems, know the proper use of materials used for building water supply systems, install building water supply systems correctly.
4. Recognize cross connections, understand the principles of cross connection control, recognize backflow prevention assemblies, install backflow prevention assemblies correctly.
5. Handle plumbing fixtures properly, install plumbing fixtures properly, install plumbing accessories correctly.
6. Prepare the work area for installation of piping systems, fixtures, appliances and appurtenances.
