Description
Focuses on the systematic development, implementation, and maintenance of disaster recovery strategies aligned with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) framework (NIST SP 800-34). Emphasizes procedures for sustaining mission-essential functions within defined timeframes following disruptive events, incorporating key components such as risk assessment, recovery objectives, roles and responsibilities, backup and recovery processes, communication protocols, and continuous improvement. Explores regulatory compliance and testing exercises to ensure organizational resilience and restore normal operations.

- Conduct a basic risk assessment and perform business impact analysis (BIA) for organizational systems.
