Description
Intermediate level course which explores techniques such as Zone System, night photography, large format and alternate darkroom processes. Emphasis on development of personal body of work and exploration of contemporary photography. Includes field trips.

Student Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate technical competence with 33mm cameras and accessories and proficiency in B&W darkroom techniques including presentation of prints in a professional manner.
Articulate ideas relevant to contemporary photography and their own work in particular.
Initiate an aesthetic or artistic ideas which is pursued over the course of the semester and results in a coherent body of work.
