AUTO 155B - Steering and Suspension Credits: 4 Description Diagnose and service of steering and suspension components, tire service, balancing, and advanced alignment procedures. Identify components and perform service procedures for electronic steering systems.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Test, diagnose, correct vehicle vibration.
- Test, evaluate suspension components for wear.
- Remove faculty suspension components and install new.
- Evaluate, diagnose incorrect ride height.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and repair a faulty steering column.
- Evaluate diagnose and correct the cause of unusual tire wear.
- Test, diagnose and correct a power steering fault.
- Complete a four-wheel alignment.
- Disable, remove faulty SIR assembly, install new.
