Description
This course will introduce students to Print Reading for Manufacturing situations in compliance to industrial standards.

Student Learning Outcomes

Identify the principal orthographic views of a manufactured object.
Use “Applied Math” skills.
Identify the components of the document title block and its critical needs to manufacturing.
Identify Tolerances of detailed drawings.
Identify “Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing” (GD&T) in technical drawings.
Identify types of the Assembly Drawing and the components needed for industry.

Prerequisite: Students that register for this class should have a strong knowledge of Math and Geometry skills
