Description
Provides instruction in solid modeling using SolidWorks software to create solid model parts, assemblies, and working drawings.

Student Learning Outcomes

Utilize 3-dimensional work planes.
Create a parametric base part to a tolerance of .020”.
Utilize work planes, points and axes.
Extract 2-dimensional orthographic views from the 3D model or assemblies.
Assemble multiple parts into a parametric assembly.

Prerequisite: Students that register for this class should have a strong knowledge of computer file management and a concept of Manufacturing Drawings
