CIT 132 - Beginning Visual Basic Credits: 3 Description An introduction to the Visual Basic.NET programming language. Topics will include problem solving, Visual Basic.NET Objects, control structures, input, output, events, methods, functions, and display of data.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Solve problems using the fundamental syntax and semantics of the language.
- Create programs that include modularization and appropriate looping, decision and data structures.
- Use generally accepted principles of good programming style and documentation.
- Create programs that include files for input and output.
- Create programs that include error handling.
- Code graphical user interfaces using GUI components.
