CUL 295 - Work Experience in Culinary Arts Credits: 1 Description In addition to academic requirements, the accreditation commissions for the Department of Hospitality Management require students to work for at least 200 hours in a verified program/degree related position prior to graduation. The work experience will be measured qualitatively as well as quantitatively as determined the program director and faculty.

- Acquire practical industry experience in culinary or pastry arts.
- Apply basic culinary or pastry skills in a workplace environment.
- Explain the importance of time management skills in a workplace environment.
- Evaluate the efficiency of a restaurant kitchen or bakeshop.
