ENV 206 - Introduction to Climate Change

Description
This class will examine the physical, chemical, and social factors that influence the components of Earth’s climate system.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Explore the major components of Earth systems and how they influence global climate
  2. Analyze the characteristics of past climates in order to model and predict future climates
  3. Examine both natural and anthropogenic causes of climate change
  4. Assess the role of population growth on the accelerated effects of climate change
  5. Evaluate how social, political, and economic factors impact solutions to climate issues
