FMM 145B - Robotics in the Manufacturing Industry Credits: 3 Description This course is designed to teach the theory and techniques of industrial robotics, through the curriculum and hands-on exercises. Topics covered are programming and operation of industrial robotics. Additional topics include automated work cells and computer integrated manufacturing.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe Servo Robot System components.
- Demonstrate robotic movement using articular and/or Cartesian coordinates.
- Design point-to-point and task programs.
- Analyze industrial robotic integration to standard production line systems.
- Demonstrate basic troubleshooting techniques.
