Description
Course is a brief introduction to nursing math through all four semesters, and to nursing process and writing care plans. Course open to all that have had acceptance into the Nursing Program.

Student Learning Outcomes

Work accurately with nursing mathematics in calculating dosages, determining the safety of the ordered dose, etc.
Describe the elements of a care plan.
Explain the relationship of the care plan to nursing process.
Describe and utilize the necessary components of each part of the care plan: diagnosis, goal/outcome, interventions, evaluation.
