OPHT 220B - Theory of Refractometry Credits: 3 Description The course will cover pre-testing procedures. Identify various ophthalmic equipment and identify the procedures of the objective and subjective refraction.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Perform all pre-testing procedures including visual acuity and patient history.
- Demonstrate the ability to perform cover tests and check EOM’s.
- Identify the parts of the ophthalmic chair and stand, phoropter, and trial sets.
- Identify the procedures of the objective refraction.
- Identify the procedures of the subjective refraction.
