PEX 186 - Intercollegiate Baseball Credits: 1 Description The Intercollegiate Baseball course is for first year students’ competitive semester participating on the intercollegiate baseball team. The course is designed to teach and develop the skills required to compete in intercollegiate baseball.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Perform basic fundamentals of baseball such as hitting, throwing, and pitching.
- Name all of the positions in the field and describe functions of each.
- Identify and perform proper techniques of individual defensive positions.
- Identify the differences in bunt coverage for runners on various bases.
- Describe the relationship between zero, one-out, and two-out defenses.
Prerequisite: Instructor approval
