Description
This course is designed to provide an advanced study of the pharmacological framework. Topics include therapeutic utility, drug classifications, drug actions, side effects, contraindications, and interactions.

Explain common pharmacologic principles and nomenclature.
Differentiate between medications according to their trade, generic, or chemical names.
Evaluate the pharmacokinetic implications of various routes of administration
Assess the characteristics of major drugs classes according to their pharmacological effect(s) in the body.
Analyze the pharmacological effects, adverse reactions, and interactions of drugs.
