VID 107B - Adobe Premiere Pro Bootcamp Credits: 1 Description Practical application and use of Adobe’s nonlinear editing program. Five-week course focuses on the essentials of using Premier Pro to edit projects using existing raw media, covering workflow, interface, tools, terminology and techniques used for creating a completed, edited sequence. All work will be performed within Adobe Premiere Pro using Adobe Media Encoder for final output. Instruction will focus on the software, and students are expected to have a basic, working knowledge of digital post-production. All necessary media will be supplied. Class acts as a great companion to VID 110B or VID 115B .
Student Learning Outcomes
- Understand Premiere’s interface and workflow.
- Access Premiere’s powerful toolset.
- Edit projects from beginning to end, starting with raw media, and ending with a completed sequence.
- Demonstrate basic titling, effects, and keyframing.
