Description
This course develops basic hand finishing skills using the correct tools and materials. The training will include a description of finishing levels, materials and mixture preparation.

Student Learning Outcomes

Discuss terms, characteristics and types of material and trims.
Identification and proper use of basic hand tools and equipment.
Measure project area and calculate material needs.
Use proper sequence to uniformly coat levels two, three and four as indicated on plans.
Properly finish sand and smooth coats to industry standards.
