IRW 211B - Architectural I Credits: 2 Description This course introduces the procedures and practices used in architectural and ornamental ironworking. Topics include the various tools used as well as anchors and fasteners.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Comprehend and use architectural ironworking terminology.
- Identify and properly use various tools.
- Demonstrate ability to properly construct curtain wall systems and window walls.
- Demonstrate understanding of various types of glazing systems and their proper handling and installation.
- Recognize various sealants and the proper techniques used for application.
