Mixing and applying 3-coat gypsum plaster are demonstrated and practiced. Identification and application of various fireproofing materials are demonstrated and practiced.

Student Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate competency in mixing and applying 3-coat gypsum plaster.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all the mathematical calculations needed for properly installed plaster work.
Demonstrate a through understanding of advantages/disadvantages of Cementitious, Mineral Fiber, and lntumescent fireproofing materials and application of the same.
Demonstrate proficiency with advanced calculations required for fireproofing design and installation.
Demonstrate competency to apply veneer plaster finish.
