This course will provide instruction in the safe handling of refrigerants and system testing.

Student Learning Outcomes

Comprehend and use refrigeration terminology.
Apply the rules, regulations and laws for handling refrigerants.
Demonstrate familiarity with the vacuum levels needed to reclaim a refrigeration system.
Complete a recovery of system refrigerant.
Pass the certification exam in order to be allowed to work with refrigerants.
