VETN 110B - Clinical Anatomy and Physiology I Credits: 4 Description Study of the comparative anatomy and physiology of common domestic and selected exotic animals using the feline as the study animal. This course includes a laboratory section and it is required that the lecture and laboratory are successfully completed independently.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Identify the basic anatomical structures of cats, dogs, horses, cattle, reptiles, fish, and birds.
- Explain the clinical importance of the anatomical structures studied.
- Explain basic physiology as it relates to the animals studied.
- Explain the clinical importance of the physiology studied.
- Perform entry-level diagnostic testing to monitor physiologic function.
Prerequisite: Admission to the Veterinary Nursing Program
