VETN 209B - Parasitology Credits: 1 Description Familiarize the student with the most commonly encountered internal and external parasites of domestic animals. Impart basic knowledge of parasitic life cycles and explore the intricacies of the host parasite relationship. Detail major diagnostic procedures necessary to identify important parasites. Describe the diseases, public health significance and economic consequences of parasitic infection and infestation.
