Description
Provides an overview of the legal fundamentals that apply to operations and management in the hospitality industries.  Contract law and negotiations will be discussed.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Apply legal concepts to the travel/tourism/hospitality industries.
  2. Recognize the dimensions of a legally defensible contract.
  3. Develop legal agreements with vendors, suppliers and team members.
  4. Assess the binding nature of travel/tourism/hospitality industry obligations from a legal perspective.
