Description
A course emphasizing the further development of Portuguese language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Emphasis is placed on more sophisticated communication in all four language acquisition skills. Portuguese speaking culture(s) are also emphasized.

Student Learning Outcomes

Create more complex sentences, continuing from the first semester, in order to communicate on an everyday basis with grammatical correctness.
Write comprehensible paragraphs, using specific vocabulary and grammar.
Develop skimming skills by recognizing cognates, verb structure and content.
Demonstrate an increased knowledge of Portuguese speaking culture.
