The Certificate of Achievement – Entry-Level Welder provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful entry level employment in the welding industry.

Extensive lab instruction focuses on the most widely used welding processes including SMAW (Stick), GMAW (Mig), FCAW (Flux core) and GTAW (Tig). Additionally, students will receive instruction in Oxy-Fuel cutting, plasma arc cutting, air-carbon-arc gouging, and blueprint reading layout and sketching.

Upon successful completion of modules and levels throughout the degree students may receive National Welding Certifications awarded by the National Construction Certification Education and Research (NCCER) Education Foundation. These industry certifications prepare students for employment.
