WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Computing and Information Technology: Cyber Security-Network Security, AAS.
 
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map is designed to provide students with the optimal route to earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.
 
CSN AAS COMPUTING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: CYBER SECURITY-NETWORK SECURITY: DESCRIPTION
This degree provides students with the necessary education and skills required by today’s Network Security specialists. Instruction includes courses on server/client centric security issues as well as router/switch centric security issues. It provides students with a wide array of training in various functional areas related to network security. Completion of this course of study prepares students for successful completion of a number of industry certification exams such as CompTia Security+, Cisco CCNA: Security, and others.
