WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who have been accepted into the CSN Tourism, Convention and Event Planning Program. 
 
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree and graduate.
 
CSN BAS TOURISM, CONVENTION AND EVENT PLANNING: DESCRIPTION
The Tourism, Convention and Event Planning BAS Degree is designed to develop skills in critical thinking, creative problem solving and operational competencies in the diverse, yet interrelated disciplines of tourism, convention, and event planning.  You’ll be introduced to career and work opportunities.
 
Student Note:  Prior to Semester #1.  Complete the AAS Tourism, Convention and Event Planning or related filed from a regionally accredited institution, apply for admission to the Tourism, Convention and Event Planning program, and be accepted into the program or receive approval from the Program Director.  A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required to graduate.  Students will have completed 61 of the 120 required credits by completing the required AAS Tourism, Convention and Event Planning.
