This skills certificate program will provide initial basic life support education in the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective behaviors required to respond to, assess, triage, and treat emergent, urgent, and non-urgent requests for medical care in an out-of-hospital setting. Completion of the skills certificate courses meets local, state, and national requirements for professional EMT certification.
