CSN AAS Automotive Technology: Collision Repair Map

WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP
This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Automotive Technology: Collision Repair, AAS .
 
HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP
The academic map is designed to provide students with the optimal route to earning an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.
 
CSN AAS AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY: COLLISION REPAIR: DESCRIPTION
The Collision Repair program is designed to prepare students as entry level collision repair technicians. Students will earn I-CAR (Industry Council for Automotive Repair) certification points in 26 different areas including customer service, estimating, welding, plastics, and paint and refinish. Successful students will become proficient in safe working procedures, structural, and nonstructural repairs, refinishing techniques, and estimating.

 

Semester #1 (12-14 Total Minimum Credit Hours)
