WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP

This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Biological Science, AS at CSN and plan to transfer to UNLV to complete a BS Biology Major upon graduating from CSN. This includes the following UNLV Biology Majors:

UNLV BS Biology-Cell and Molecular Biology Major
UNLV BS Biology-Ecology and Evolutionary Major
UNLV BS Biology-Integrative Physiology Major
UNLV BS Biology-Microbiology Major
UNLV BS Biology-Pre-Professional Studies Major

Students transferring to UNLV should visit the UNLV/CSN Transfer Office for transfer course grade and GPA requirements.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP

The academic map totals a minimum of 60 credits and assumes no transferred coursework. It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.
