WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP

This academic map should be used by CSN students who are completing the Anthropology, AA at CSN and plan to transfer to an INSTITUTION OUTSIDE THE STATE OF NEVADA to complete a BA Anthropology Major upon graduating from CSN.

Students should check with the institution they are transferring to for transfer course grade and GPA requirements.

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP

The academic map totals a minimum of 60 credits and assumes no transferred coursework. It is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer. Electives (Major Requirements) - Credits 3: Must complete one (1) ANTH course worth three (3) credits not used in the Core Requirements (under Major Requirements) - See an advisor or counselor for options.
Social Science Elective (Major Requirements) - Credits 3: See a counselor or advisor to choose a course option that is in a different discipline from the Social Science Elective course you chose in Semester #3.
