DESCRIPTION
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be prepared for an entry-level position in the gaming industry. This program integrates classroom experience with hands-on lab exercises and covers topics such as planning, design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various slot machines and related devices. Networks used to support modern slot machine gaming are also covered.

Program Learning Outcomes


  1. Identify components, design, and construct various circuits specific to electronic slot machines, ATMs, and/or Kiosks.
  2. Independently analyze, operate, and troubleshoot systems found in electronic slot machines, ATMs, Kiosks, and typical self-service devices.
  3. Describe the operation of typical peripheral devices such as player tracking and progressive systems.
  4. Characterize and troubleshoot the installation and operation of networks that support devices such as slot machines and computers.
