RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
The student MUST be indentured in the Laborers’ Environmental and Construction Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Laborer Trades’ Associate of Applied Science Degree if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares the student for employment as a Journeyman Laborer with the Laborers Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing math, science, and human relations components are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.

 

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Comprehend and utilize all applicable Laborer tools.
  2. Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of Laborer work.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that may arise in Laborer work.

General Education Requirements (27 Credits)


Mathematics (3 Credits)


NOTE: Your first college-level MATH course MUST be completed before reaching 30 total college-level credits.

Special Program Requirements (33 Credits)


NOTE: Any APP journeyman course offered for credit may be substituted for any of the above APP apprentice courses. Please contact the program coordinator for more details.
