Pile Driver, AAS [PDA-AAS, 60 Total Credits]


RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
Students MUST be indentured in the Carpenters Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Pile Driver Associate of Applied Science if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares students for employment as a Journeyman Pile Driver with the Carpenters Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing related math, science and human relations components are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.

 

Student Learning Outcomes


  1. Comprehend and utilize all applicable pile driver tools.
  2. Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of pile driver work.
  3. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that arise with pile driver work.

General Education Requirements (25 Credits)
