Description
This course will enhance machinery installation skills used in manufacturing applications. Exercises will focus on the importance of machine drawings to identify component tolerances, installation requirements and alignment of parts.

Student Learning Outcomes

Identify terms and label machinery components using machine prints.
List the steps used in the installation sequence.
Correctly assemble and disassemble bearing and coupling components.
Inspect, measure and record bearing size.
Use rigging equipment and procedures to accurately locate and set component in place.
